Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 8 June 2026Draft, pending legal review

A short list of behaviours that will get an account suspended, and how to report security issues.

1. Stay legal

Do not use Zion to do anything illegal where you operate, or to store, send, or generate content that breaks the law (including child safeguarding laws, defamation, and IP theft).

2. Respect students and staff

Do not enter content that harasses, threatens, or discriminates against students, parents, or staff. ACE record-keeping should be honest and dignified.

3. Do not abuse the service

  • Do not attempt to bypass tenant isolation or access another school's data.
  • Do not scrape, mirror, or rate-bypass the service.
  • Do not stress-test or run security testing without our written agreement.
  • Do not resell, sublicense, or rent your Zion subscription.
  • Do not use Zion in safety-critical workflows; it is a record-keeping tool, not a medical, legal, or emergency system.

4. Account credentials and access

Keep your login credentials private. Share access by inviting individual users with the right role; do not share a single login between people. Tell us immediately at support@zionapp.co if you think an account has been compromised.

5. Reporting a security issue

Found a vulnerability? Please email support@zionapp.co with details and a way to reproduce it. We will acknowledge within two working days. Do not exploit the issue or use it on anyone else's data.

6. Enforcement

We may warn you, restrict features, or suspend the account for breach. We will tell you why, and give you a chance to fix the problem unless safety, legal or service-integrity reasons require immediate action.
